How to delete your account
You can request the deletion of your Taldea account at any time from inside the app settings.
What happens when you delete your account
- Your account and profile data are removed immediately.
- You are removed from all groups you were a member of.
- If you created a group: That group and all its content are deleted immediately for all members.
- If you were a member: Photos you already shared in other people's groups will remain visible to those members until their natural expiration (up to 24 hours).
Data retention
- Under normal use, photos are automatically deleted after 24 hours.
- Groups with no activity are automatically deleted after 7 days.
- When you delete your account, we stop processing your personal data for active use, keeping only minimal records required for legal or security purposes.
Taldea is designed to be ephemeral. Once your account or a group is deleted, we cannot recover that information for you.
